A Sinner’s Disguise /
Forgive me for my wicked side.
The gaping gashes of your soul
Are sin of blade I kept inside
And bared, left the scars to show.
I almost push it through your heart,
Letting the pang transfix abruptly.
Cold metal, but my love so hot
Alleviates the tortures subtly.
A sinner's hideous disguise –
Another me embodying devil.
It makes the pure feelings die
And causes gloom in which I revel.
Each tear burns me by its flame
That I inspire and provoke.
My inner dark it tries to tame.
All of your pain I cannot soak.
Salt drops dissolve my vicious guise,
Letting the monster out of me.
So black, inhuman were the eyes
When I set alter ego free.
Your love is healing me in silence
I feel like demons float away.
They're done with their act of violence,
I'm better off that wicked way.
