A Short Poem (haiku style)

Each stanza of this poem is a haiku.  A haiku is a poem of three lines, the first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables, and the last line has 5 syllables.

This poem is short;
Being brief is a good sport:
And a wise resort.

Put your words away;
Shutting up can make your day:
Short is sweet, I say.
