A Chat

Good day sir
were you not the doctor?
No! not I

Then the journalist
wielding his pen before the storm

No! I never was

Perhaps the lawyer
chanting the course of the unlucky

No!

Maybe the clergy
teaching the masses what they will never learn

No! Not I

you remind me of my southern brothers
perhaps the wine tapper

No! The West is where I know

Then the Western warlord
great one of the Osun Valley

No! that was my brother, not I

Please help this confused cadavar
where from do I know this man?

I was the Auditor

The Auditor?
Oh goodness, the auditor
whoelse is there that can tell a truth?
