"John" a Sonnet
If there were a choice,
in which picked thou voice,
to guide us in now,
showers would embrace.
Falling without trace,
your voice which we grace,
to hear your shadow,
for in which we cry.
For your dreams cast one,
over the sky, `twas done,
a seed of your soul,
lives on in our hearts.
`Tis the light of day,
which thou had to say.
