Loss of a Friend.

I fall down on my knees broken hearted
Torn pieces of memories scatter the floor
I look but don't see
The friend who use to stand next to me
They have gone far away
Upon a cloud to another day
I pray for their return
I don't want to morn
How do I go on
Without you my friend
How can I see the light
When you took it with you

I get up off my knees
Would you lend me a hand please
Life goes on
Even though your gone
Every morning you bring the light
I get to spend the day with you
Every night you have to go
I miss you so
Till the next morning light
I say goodnight
