Gift from Haven

Many many springs ago, softly crying her lungs out
No tears from shut eyes, mouth wide open n loud
Small face, dark hair, beautiful smell and voice so loud
Picked her up n brought her to my chest,
I knew the future strong woman in her
I saw you blossoming as evergreen tree
Learning fast still curious as flowing river
Power of mighty Mississippi
Softness of full moon night
Argument so strong and so loud
But logic finally brings you around
You made me proud n happy abound.
