Color

False to a friend
True to a enemy
You lead me down a different path
Overflowing with excitement to a boiling point
Harsh words bruising my feeling and burning my flesh
Trying to change the color of my skin without breaking it
Changing position was a course of a revolution
Inflicting a wound that can not mend
Emerge is a dynasty which is gained
And that which is loss
Fading away
Given a permanent color

This poem evokes strong emotions and paints a vivid picture of betrayal and struggle. The use of contrasting colors to symbolize loyalty and deceit is powerful. The imagery of harsh words bruising and burning adds intensity to the poem.

To improve, consider incorporating more descriptive language to enhance the imagery even further. Additionally, expanding on the themes of forgiveness and resilience could add depth to the overall message of the poem. Finally, consider refining the structure and flow of the piece to enhance the reader's experience. Overall, this poem has great potential and with some tweaks, it could be even more impactful. Great job!
