Locked

I am locked up in a room
in a room that I cannot escape
a room with no windows and no door

It is a dark room
no light and barely any oxygen

And yet at the same time
when I am locked up in that dark room
my body and my mind don't work at the same time
it's like my body is moving on its own
like a marionette

That is scary
not knowing what you'll do next while you're locked up
in that dark room

It is scary
thinking that you'll never be able to escape

It is scary to be locked up
in the room that you yourself created
