Time And Tide
Quaid-Uz-Zaman 1954 (Jamalpur)
The sun rises in the east and
sets west
but always anew and fresh,
waves rush to the shore with cures surfy in hands
and go back
only to add the strength of salts vital again,
here lie the dolphins gone and oysters scattered,
a sea always welcome
for the joys and sorrows to be shared with
blue,
blue and
a spreading blue,
you depart and he comes in.
