Sunday Afternoon

Kenneth R. Jenkins 1961 (Augusta, GA)

Sunny day
Bright sunny day
With it's blue sky
The makings of a perfect
Sunday afternoon for two.

Wonderful day
Grand day for just for going out
As I catch the sunny rays
Upon my face warm
On a Sunday afternoon for two.

And I'm glad we are together
Once more without the boundaries
Relaxing this moment well spent
Without the ares weighing us down
On a Sunday afternoon for two.
