Your Lover by the Sea
Your Lover by the Sea,
overlooking the rocks as the waves crash the beach,
I often think of you,
though you don't really remember me,
I tried to save you once, from the Lord's castle
at Normandy. I was hired by the English Crown but
the Lord at Tankerville had found me out.
He knew that you and I were meant to be.
We joined as one only after you jumped after me.
I was struck by an arrow from the Lord's archers to protect the castle.
