Trickery

The real illusion was allowing myself to think that what I felt was real.. Knowing that in my heart it could be dispelled..I liked the comfort of your touch because I needed it so much..but if not true love..that feeling could come from anyone..Allowed myself to think you were great.. added something that I was missing only to be let down and again wear a frown.. when will I straighten my crown and look deep within and understand it's time to take a stand.. Spiralling once again at my own hand for him I let in.. Where is my safe place where I don't have to hide my face..Eyes always filled with tears losing my best years..still not facing my fears..so much to accomplish but at a standstill..let it all go get rid of ego..admit fault..breathe again feel alive and don't take that dive..Strive and thrive .. never give up hope.. even at the end of the rope.. I must go on..so saddened is she.. always leaves me in disbelief..Two steps forward to fall three steps backwards..inner peace in the midst of misery..can't escape the corner of your mind.. Open your eyes and smile..no longer in denial..This is trickery and I'm closing the book..no more notes took..

And still I must go on..Trials and tribulations faced some with defeat but in my heart is my victory..Mother of four for who I do it for on my own since fifteen and still I go on. more…
