VICTORIOUS TODAY

VICTORIOUS TODAY

Never been one to stick out in a crowd
Given a choice I'm silent rather than loud
Times with family are the best times of all
If you never rise, you know you'll never fall
But here I am, I'm stepping up and out
About to show y'all what faith is about

I'm not beaten, I'm not a slave to my doubt
You laugh and point that I'm down and out
I am gentle, but friend I'm not weak
In my silence I think, and in confidence speak
But no chain, sin, or doubt that is in my way
Will stop my faith when giants I need to slay

I'll tell you, Faith's deepest secret
It's a power that's not failed me yet
It's simply this, Here I am! Here I stand!
Lord send me to shout to all the Land!
With you God, every mountians gonna fall
Faith is standing with God through it all

Yes we're cast down, but never count us out
Well rise up speak and preach to our doubt
Even at our weakest, our God is ever strong
So we rise up singing a brand new song
So don't take my silence, for a defeat
Because I'll preach Jesus to all I meet

I tell you that I'm hidden in the crowd
But when I preach I'm bold and loud
So go ahead and laugh, you silly old giant
I'll strike true in Faith I'm defiant
And Faith pushes all fear and doubt away
And once again God is victorious today
Amen
