Summer Daze

Some are nights and some are days;
Trapped inside a sinful maze.
Trying to find our way out.
We can’t! We just sit down and pout.

We need someone to rescue us.
We need a Savior! Can’t you see?
He’s coming to us from the east;
To save us from that wicked beast.

Summer nights and summer days;
Lost in all the summer haze.
The feasting days have come again.
Don’t let me walk with prideful men.
