Solitude

Fingers

woven together by the crevices,

like stitches carefully sewn in
between the fabricated skin.

Quiver from a touch of another,
but from healing caress,

with childlike purity.

Fragile canvaslike material coated gently and intricately, with doting warmth.

A man wouldn't do this for me,

only an eased soul that is parallel
and equally harmonious with mine.

I love you, and you and I belong held in the arms of our parallel souls forever when we cannot trust the world
