Too Long Distanced

Have we all been too long distanced,
From a reality to express...
It offensive and upsets.
Is it the truth we defend against.
To claim it has effectively crossed,
A threshold not invited to pass,
Fiction to delude...
Our lives to live forever to last.
With a doing done to disbelieve,
To leave us grieving feeling miserable.
How truth can be capable to dismiss,
Every single fantasy.
Without giving us warning,
Rejecting its presence.
Has gone as an option.
Regardless how long we prolong,
Choosing to believe...
We can successfully keep it distanced!

Truth and its reality is here.
To stay.
No matter who prefers,
Another way to replace the face of it!

'Why have you,
Opened the window.
To stand on the ledge.
Threatening to jump!'

'I'm seeking to find incentive.
That keeps me motivated,
To believe tomorrow brings a better day!'

'Baby?
I know how you must feel,
About what's going on these days.
But honey,
Our apartment is on the first floor.
And even if you should jump,
The embarrassment of doing it...
Will be remembered by our neighbors.
Who already assume,
The relationship we share is problematic!
As a suggestion,
Why not practice your frustrations...
By jumping off the garbage cans,
In the backyard.
You kick around to claim,
How awful the smell the World is getting.
When you are the one,
Bringing that stench home from work!'

'Who else is going to take seriously,
What is happening.
As if,
To ignore what is done to anticipate it.'

'I know you are not waiting,
For a response from me!
Too long you have kept your distance,
From this very house you live in!'
