TICK-TOCK

TICK-TOCK

Tick tock time tics on
Listen and hear the clock
Tick tock, time’s almost gone
Devil wants us off the Rock
Watch as  time slips by
Heaven's roar shatters the sky

Tell me time passes as before
So long, and it's still the same
Behold Jesus is knocking on the door
Waiting to call us all by name
And the clock is ticking still
Waiting for the Lamb of Israel

Tick, another war explodes
Tock, earth quakes everywhere
Tick, packed are Hell’s many roads
Tock, will the humble bow in prayer?
Hear the final tick and tock
As the devil roars from the clock

Tick tock, tick tock
Do you stand on the Rock?
Tick tock, tick tock
Race against the clock
Tick tock, tick tock
Jesus is Our Rock!

Some times time stands still
Moments we love for You
We live for Your Holy Will
Give our time in all we do
Though time is passing by
Holy is the Lamb! we cry

Time it can rush right by
We can't find time for You
But Love for You we cry
God's Grace sees us through
Oh we don't need to fear the tock
When we're standing on the Rock!

Tick tock, tick tock
Do you stand on the Rock?
Tick tock, tick tock
Race against the clock
Tick tock, tick tock
Jesus is Our Rock!

Tick tock, fear not the clock
We are on the Rock
AMEN

About this poem

Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away. If only we knew the power of your anger! Your wrath is as great as the fear that is your due. Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90 10-12
