Making my way down nowhere street

Young and wild without a tear
Steering a path you perceived as clear
To find yourself in an endless rage
The elders warned, they are wise with age
Making my way down nowhere street

Striving to gain perfection
All that is left is sadness and tension
Wondering if this is the end
No more trial, no more tribulation
Making my way down nowhere street

Learn to heal, introspection
Knowledge and power
Self reflection
Grow like a weed, pretty as a flower
Making my way down nowhere street

Behold, crystal clear
Feeling young and wild
Not an ounce of fear
But, freedom still longs
Making my way down nowhere street

As gray hair streaks
Wild days will end
Youth will come in handy
Speak truth and wisdom
Making my way down where street

About this poem

I wrote this poem while going through a time period of healing. Coming to conclusion that I had been wrong, but can still grow and do better.
