My Feelings Will Entwine

Everyday, I think to myself,
I think about what is yet to come.
What is yet to be.
Although I couldn’t
stand the thought of being alone
I’d know my one and only would still be with me.

I wish to see myself as better
I wish to want to be that one
But with my nature
It is to be.

In my nature,
A story will unfold.
All that sadness
All that cold
Will disappear
Creating a happiness
In my soul.

I feel it is to be.
But there is nothing left.
For me, I will find myself.
I will unfold the story.
I will leave it all behind.
The old me will disappear.
The wind will blow
And like that, with nature,
My feelings will entwine.

About this poem

This poem is about the undying bond between nature and a girl. It tells the reader that even if you are alone, nature will always be there. It is also about seeing yourself as is and appreciating the goods that you bring.

I grew up in PA. Each day I would spend my mornings contributing to my community duties and functions. One day, my community started a donation fund for young writers. We were able to sign up to have our writings displayed for our whole city to see. That's when I realized, I am in my happiness when I have my paper and pen. more…
