A Fevered Life
Last night I dreamt
and could not awake
From some life I had lived
In some fevered state
Where days and dreams
Collide as they fold
Where reality is lost
When security is whole
What light may come
To wake from this deep
Hollowed out form I keep
In my sleep
In what way do I know
Which place is real
Am I asleep when I slumber
Or awake as I feel
About this poem
