Darkness

In the quiet of night, shadows dance,
A cloak of blackness, a mystic trance.
The moon retreats, the stars ignite,
And darkness whispers secrets in the night.

It cradles the weary, wraps them tight,
A velvet shroud, a soothing sight.
The owl hoots, the wind sighs,
As darkness weaves its ancient ties.

Beneath the veil, dreams take flight,
Lost in the vastness, out of sight.
Yet within its depths, a hidden grace,
Darkness holds both fear and solace.

So embrace the night, let go of day,
For in darkness, new beginnings sway.
Stars emerge, galaxies collide,
And in the black, our souls reside.
