Growing old

Alone in sleep dreams of thine,
Shadows creep taking what's mine,
Sorrow fills as the time flies,
A village once raised this child before,
A culture that rarely most adore,
Independence is no truth where I grew up,
In reality dependence is in so much,
The manipulative reality of some in nature,
Endangers the innocent with their emotional ventures,
So intelligence is correct in ensuring proper handling,
When emotions overtly expressed without what's important for ways of living.
