We Go Gently Underneath The Stars

We go gently under the stars,
Barefoot whispers on dew-kissed scars
Of the sleeping earth. A velvet hush,
Only starlight whispers, a gentle crush

Of galaxies vast on our upturned gaze.
No need for words in this starlit maze.
A hand-held close, a silent vow,
Under a sky where dreams somehow

Unfurl-like banners, vast and bright,
Guiding our steps through the starlit night.
As we go gently underneath the stars

Every time I read one of your poems, you surprise me. Each seems to be better than the last.

I think mine's are awful compared to a lot of the ones I read.
