Faith Carries Us

Robert Rowe 1967 (Agana, Guam)

God is in each our souls that’s what I have been told
He lives nowhere at all say some so very bold.
Yhwh, Allah, Jehovah or whatever name
You pray to every day, know that it’s all the same.

If God exists or not this poet cannot say
But billions around the world believe anyway.
I encourage everyone find this very hour
A means to have in your heart a higher power.

Those whose faith is lost let me address you this way
Find it again because at the end of the day
Your unseen wall of pain which traps you like those mimes
Faith on its shoulders carries us through those hard times.
