HAVEN'T I BEEN HERE BEFORE

HAVEN'T I BEEN HERE BEFORE?

Haven't I been here before?
Strong and oh so sure
My pride knows what's in store
I fall, only Your love is sure
Been here,  been here before
And You've lifted me off the floor

I've been down this road
I've seen all the signs
There's that shattered load
As the past slowly rewinds
Lord I know what's coming next
Sin, my fragile faith wrecks

Haven't I been here before?
High on the peaks of Grace
My heart knows what's in store
Lord! Let me see Your face!
Been here, been here before
Lord raise me up once more

I've fought this fight and lost
Though broken, my bones you raise
I lay down before the Cross
Lord you are the Ancient of days
My faith you again will mend
I'll see this fight to the end

Haven't I been here before?
Watching the rising of the sea
My Faith knows what's in store
The waters split around me
Been here, been here before
As the Lion of Judah starts to roar!

The thrill of the race surrounds,
As I watch Your might in Awe
In every place, or battered ground
I boldly proclaim all I saw
By Your might doubt flees
To every believer on his knees

Haven't I been here before?
On my knees before Your Cross
My soul knows what's in store
You pay the Price for all I've lost
Been here,been here before
Now I'm Yours, forevermore

In the grave you left behind
The Joy of Salvation spreads
Your touch gives sight to the Blind
Your spirit wakens the dead
Lord I open my hearts door
Haven't I been here before...?
AMEN
