Blazing into space
Beyond all boundaries
Of time and place
Soaring for the limits of
Eternity and finding none
Feeling the liberty
Of the Chosen
Found before Creation
And the Garden
Whence came the Binding.
Hidden in a serpent
A forbidden fruit
Which all men eat
Requiring a Salvation
We can never repay
Seeing dark night
While longing for Day
Free now to soar
On the wings of eagles
Crying in the morning
Dreaming in the evening
Knowing the comfort
And the Joy
Of the truly free?
