Valentine

I opened my eyes still a little stiff
I sensed fresh toast I got a whiff
She was up, her side was empty
She clearly rose to preempt me
So I’ll lay here a few more minutes
To give her some more time to finish
10 min later she whispered “Rise n’ shine,
I made you some breakfast my valentine.”

For some silly reason…I am thinking about buying me a van, though I’m contemplating one with the name of a certain epic poem not a Volkswagen…I’ve always thought about pulling a Charles Kuralt…It doesn’t seem like I will get my original van horn property back…So I doubt that which is written in a certain playbook will not occur…Who knows if I may encounter a helper who might share such a dream for possibly 6 years???
