BELIEVE
I heard it said that we're wrong
Faith, in reality, just don't belong
God is a dream they say to me
Heaven is a hope that we'll never see
But I believe,in the Cross on Calvary
I believe, that Jesus died for you and me
I believe there's an old empty tomb
And friends, I believe, He's coming soon
Faith they hold in no esteem
As if the Cross is just a dream
Mocking our hope as we lift our eyes
Soon the Trump echoes in the skies
But I believe,in the Cross on Calvary
I believe, that Jesus died for you and me
I believe there's an old empty tomb
And friends, I believe, He's coming soon
You tell me my God is dead
Just an echo in my head
But the Hope I hold rose again
Just look to the skies my friend
Because hope just doesn't die
My Lord's promise won't pass by
Oh Jesus you know I believe
All Your promises I receive!
For I believe,in the Cross on Calvary
I believe, that Jesus died for you and me
I believe there's an old empty tomb
And friends, I believe, He's coming soon
So here I stand and I proclaim
The victory through Jesus name
Insults and stones won't stop
As I shout here from the rooftop
That I believe,in the Cross on Calvary
I believe, that Jesus died for you and me
I believe there's an old empty tomb
And friends, I believe, He's coming soon
AMEN
About this poem
So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell Matthew 10 26-28
