Now I Gain

Ronald Bunch 1982 (Grand Rapids)

As I search around,
I look for all there is.
I wonder if my calamity
Is near, I do fear.

Like a seismic toss,
All the evil is
Thrown out of me.
I belched at a loss.

The loss of demons
And Archfiends.
The gross beings
Now not my boss.

Now I see my
Life is just starting.
With a pure start, my
Potential is off the chart.

I dare be smart.
I read the Bible
And write with heart.
Today I write, evil I smite.

No need to fight.
God has won.
Now I gain
With this refrain.
