Crypt



A visceral of solemn, a forlorn figure that goes forgotten
Sitting alone in a crypt, looking up at the ceiling with a cerulean-toned shadow on their face
The atmosphere surrounding them is contaminated with saturnine that echoes through their catacomb
Because it  was the calamity of lovelorn that had led them here
And no one warned them that envy can be chartreuse
So they are in a dungeon that their mind imbued

About this poem

The reader is supposed to begin reading the poem unsure what creature of sadness it is about. They then they realize nearing the end, that it is about a human in a state of depression that they can’t get out, of similar to a dungeon or a crypt
