Anti-Social Butterfly
Distancing myself is my new response .
I don’t return energy.
I simply remove myself.
I set my standards high and know when to walk away from anything that no longer serves me, helps me grow, or makes me happy. .
I surround myself with positive people and distant myself from anything that’s going to hurt or harm me.
I started putting myself first and avoid all shady and negative situations.
Learn to love myself the best I know how.
Work on waking up in a better mood every morning and face all my struggles head on.
Learn to appreciate the beauty around me and never sell myself short.
Never tell someone what your next move is
going to be and never talk about your love life.
Trust no one except your spouse!
Family will put you down faster than anyone else will.
Pay attention to people’s vibe you can learn a lot by actions.
Be friendly but hold your guard up all times.
If you feel a certain way thats uncomfortable address it immediately and try to make reasonable and factual statements so they understand where your coming from. Spread your wings and fly away, darling you have places to fly not everyone can handle you and you are a blessing in disguise.
Social distancing only heals you into becoming something greater than what you once was during the storm. It gives you room for peace and time to think and grow. My healing process means the most to me and if I can’t heal I can’t grow and if I can’t grow Im dying.
That’s not acceptable in my mind because my journey I call life is worth what I allow it because nobody wanna see you win these days and be happy anymore so you got to do what’s best for you on this road we call life and live laugh love to the fullest!
About this poem
Anti-social ButterFly describes me to a Tee! I have a bad habit of distancing myself from people. Friend or not I hate being in a crowd and I get nervous whenever a lot of people are around. I been through so much in my life that has changed me into a completely different person then who I once was. I use to could tolerate a lot of people now I can barely be around friends or anyone in the nature due to past trauma in my life. I didn’t think I would ever make it out the darkness I still have a hard time but I will never give up and I will keep fighting each day more and more but one thing I will never do is Be around people who are fake and have no good intentions. That’s why I chose to write about antisocial and being no part in people’s fullish games. more »
