Oh dad

Hannah Giesegh 2007 (Arizona)

Oh Dad

I sit and think of you-
When did I stop deserving your love
Don't you remember me
It's me, your little girl
Where did that go
Why do you push me out
Why don't I hear that voice anymore
I don't remember what it sounds like
I don't know what will come out , is it anger again
But it's never love anymore
They say the pain will go away
But the pain is still there like it's stabbing me in the heart
Oh dad , oh dad
Why can't I have your love
The stars speak to me more than you
Dad, am not enough to be your little girl anymore
They all say it's okay to have daddy issues
But the end result is boxes of tissues
I don't hate you dad
But I can’t keep waiting for you
The one person who you should love is nothing to you
But I look back at the pictures and think
That little six year old girl
Had no idea she wouldn't have a dad
Oh dad oh dad
What happen
Did I do something to fail you
Do I not meet your expectations
But It's okay I forgive you dad
I will always love you
