Freedom

Shivony 1985 (Kathmandu)

They fly so high,
 They could touch the sky.
 Their so free,
 Free as can be.

They love to roam.
Sometimes they go far,
Sometimes they go home.
Either way they come back.
Back for fun,
Or back for the sun.

Some can fly,
Others don't have time.
Some eat fish,
While some will come
And eat your dish.

These creatures are cool,
Cooler than the pool.
Some have webbed feet,
While others have fish to eat.

They can be protective,
For good or for bad.
Don’t get to close,
Or you’ll make them mad.

Birds are a mother lion
When it comes to their eggs
They can run faster than you
Even on two legs

Some are gold,
Like the sun.
Others are sold,
For fun.

They are not property
And they all should be free,
So leave them alone
And let them be

About this poem

This is about freedom. Birds should be free, and so should we!
