Eliza And Ben
In a world of whispers, where feelings collide,
Two souls entwined, in a dance of pride.
Eliza and Ben, a tale of love and pain,
Their hearts entangled, like drops in the rain.
Ben, a mischievous soul, with secrets deep,
For Eliza's attention, he would always seek.
With his words sharp as thorns, he teased and taunted,
Yet his hidden desire for her heart, he flaunted.
Eliza, a fiery spirit, strong and bold,
His cruel jests, they pierced her soul, untold.
She built a fortress, fueled by her disdain,
Forgetting the truth beneath Ben's charade.
Years passed by, and life took its toll,
The echoes of their past began to unfold.
Ben found another, a girl to call his own,
While Eliza's heart ached, in silence she moaned.
The realization struck, like a thunderous blow,
Eliza's heart now yearned for Ben's love to show.
But it was too late, for he had moved on,
Leaving Eliza alone, her heart torn.
Love can be a torment, a bittersweet pain,
A longing that lingers, like a never-ending rain.
Eliza now knew, love had played its cruel game,
Leaving her heartbroken, in Ben's forgotten name.
For in the depths of their tangled history,
A love was lost, forever a mystery.
Two souls intertwined, yet never to be,
Eliza and Ben, a tale of love's agony.
About this poem
A poem ballad about a boy who was mean to me but secretly liked me, leading to me being mean to him in return. Now, I find myself falling in love with him.
