One last thing on us
If I can just say one last thing on "us."
We wasn't always like this. We didnt use to fight non stop or rage out just because the other one would cough.
No.. we use to be in love. So In love it drove us mad! We allowed this.. we opened ourselves and invited y'all in and then we kept you! Y'all's thoughts, y'all's opinions, y'all's ways to escape the bigger issues. We push them aside and we focus our eyes on the game we despise... Another issue! To put off the blame on the soul that i claim fits perfect with mine; so it makes me miss you! I'll own up to mine cause they say love is blind. How could I miss this!!?? Your my greatest love. I hold you up above the world! My dreams are the only place I would trust with your memories, so in there I'll give you the world. Lessons are best learned in the act of the love you deserve. I'll miss us every day and I'll hold on to our love that I retained.
About this poem
It was the perfect love. Until we allowed others to have input and we allowed others opinions to reshape how we felt about one another. We invited snakes in to our garden and let them build a house there instead of removing them. We say we love each and feel so passionate but we degrade what we have to our friends. Yet are actions ahow we don't love each other enough not enough to let each other feel love. So before I lose all my love for you after years of showing no effort to change, I'll keep you in my dreams because to trust you anywhere other than there would be the end of me. . but like this i get to keep the remaining love i had for you. more »
