OH ZION, YOUR MAGNIFICENCE

OH ZION,  YOUR MAGNIFICENCE
By Moses Seiber

Oh ZION,
YOUR MAGNIFICENCE,
YOU gracious and loved,
Most Reverent,
Covering FATHER of all,
Truly so eloquent,
Never a leaving from my side,
Definitely present,
Making a way on through all the walls,
Trying to block me,
Moving away all of the mountains,
That try to stop me,
Never throwing any towel,
That's saying that you're giving up,
Giving up all of your life,
Is saying that you love enough,
Enough that you've taken in all that pain,
That they dished out,
Showing that all of your love for me,
Is more than they knew about,
Each strike that they dished,
Was what they thought that could make you fall,
And say that it's over,
And saying that you could not take it all,
Bringing out tears down from your eyes,
And watch you crawl away,
Saying that you are not the words,
That the people say,
But, through it all you did not bow,
Nor did you take a fall,
Nor to surrender did you speak,
Nor did you give a call,
But, you upheld,
That true reason that you came to be,
For those of us,
Who are above and below to see,
That he did not come down here,
Just to live and reign before your eye,
But, to bring up salvation for you,
Which is why He died.

About this poem

Written on Wednesday February 14th, 2024 right after I read my Bible. Both 50 and 51 of Psalm. And it's actually like a rap verse message I wrote after reading because that was in my spirit.
