Without rap

What would I do without rap.

Without the ability, to tap into me and see what's trapped, and put out on the pad.

Picking words that match, the exact, way I feel about something, that, I'm emotionally attached to.

It could also be Something that, emotionally attacks you.

When that happens, writing is what, I gotta get back to.

Because, I wouldn't wanna, let it bother, me.

Inking my thinking, has got me through dark times. So let's get to drinking and clinking, our glass guys.

Raise and Hold em up high.

Here's to rap, here's to rhymes, here's to flows.

here's to metaphors, here's to double entendres, Here's to story telling and freestyling off the dome.

And everything else that it encompasses. Cheers to that. Because without it, where would we be.

I just don't want to know.

I've been Writing since 2018. I prefer to call myself a writer than a poet because I write many styles of literature. I've never limited myself to just one way of using the pen. I love all kinds of writing. Most of all, I just see what I do as simply expressing my self through words and I don't really categorize my work in or to any specific genera. more…
