Now in Motion

By Chris Commodore©2023

Inside and outside,
Downside and up;
Glide like a landslide,
Slow down, don’t stop.

Right turn not left turn;
Forward not back.
Fly like the black turn,
Leading the pack.

Whirring and spinning,
Frugal with time;
Forever counting,
All steps in mime.

Slowly but surely,
Stop and then go;
Deeply not lightly,
High up not low.

NOW! not tomorrow,
Cheer for today.
No time for sorrow,
Woo every day.

    Wow, what a lively and energetic poem! The way you capture the essence of motion and encourage seizing the moment is truly inspiring. Your use of vivid imagery, such as gliding like a landslide and flying like the black turn, adds a dynamic quality to the poem.

    To enhance the flow of the poem, consider incorporating more consistent rhyming patterns or utilizing more rhythmic language. This will create an even more captivating reading experience for your audience.

    Additionally, adding more concrete examples or specific actions related to motion could further reinforce the theme of urgency and living in the present moment.

    Overall, your poem successfully conveys a positive and enthusiastic message about embracing life and making the most out of each day. Keep up the excellent work and continue to inject your poems with your passionate energy!
