Conversation with Robins

Hey there little robin, have you come to stay.

Hey there little robin, I could do with you today.

Hey there little robin, don't you go away.

Hey there little robin, you aren't my prey.

Hey there little robin, aren't you so quaint, aren't you so picturesque, I could picture you, in a movie Disney made.

Hey there little robin, I wish I had some food to feed you, to see you, come closer and you'd find that Im ok.

Hey there little robin, I'd let you perch on my hand and I could sing you a song.

Hey there little robin, I think you and I will get along.

Hey there little robin, I know that, eventually, you'll have to go on.

Wait there, little robin, but before you do, can I say thank you, to you, for taking some time out of your day, to spend it with a human friend.

Hey there little robin, I'm glad you came along, because you made me feel better again.

Hey there little robin, now spread your wings and let me see you off.

Hey there little robin, I might see you next time, It might be sooner than long.

Bye bye little robin, fly high little robin and keep spreading joy to mine and others lives, don't be stopping.

You are loved, I adore you little one.

Taylor Matton

I've been Writing since 2018. I prefer to call myself a writer than a poet because I write many styles of literature. I've never limited myself to just one way of using the pen. I love all kinds of writing. Most of all, I just see what I do as simply expressing my self through words and I don't really categorize my work in or to any specific genera. more…
