UNTRUE LOVE

When I first laid eyes on you innocent and pure
the connection was so unified believed it was right
A thrill went through my body with goose bumps chill
Looking is hard when you can't touch, now married
you promised to be mine, not anyone else's

You gave me the authority to love you and just you
unconditionally without thought it was so easy to do

Years and days went by and yet I remained still
captured when I laid eyes on you oh my heart danced
I believed in you almost more than I believed in "well"
Shh, God!!!!  You always said there is no one else

I wondered at times why you would say that to me
Then suddenly "God" lead me to a place and it hurt
so, so bad to see you that way in another's embrace
