Blessed

Blessed are those cursed to bear the bite marks gifted to them by those who raised them

Blessed are those who suffered the brunt of  violence that spawned of a bottle

Blessed are those who whimper like a scared dog at the sound of approaching footsteps

Blessed is the dog cowering at the raised hand

Blessed are those who bite at the hand reaching out to pet them

Blessed are those condemned to consume the poison the bottle contains

Blessed are those that view fear as their only means of gaining respect

Blessed is he with the raised hand
