Fury by night

My mind is filled with rage
My heart is bleeding
Pain knows no age

My past mistakes,
Hurtful words thrown at me haunt me
The notion of being an adult is scary
Why didn't you warn me?

I feel fury more than the inner dialogue of my mother's first born daughter
Save me from my thoughts
I feel stuck in life
While my peers enjoy theirs
I get envious
Then I cry
And wonder why I'm stuck

About this poem

This is a poem I wrote inspired by myself. It's for people who are not where they are in life,people that feel stuck and those who know how it feels to see your dreams die.
