Daydream

There is this insecure part of me.
A very heavy branch on my tree.
I dont carry it for nothing. I saunter on.
Trim my limbs down nonchalant.
Sometimes it gets the best of me.
When my canopy starts to scream
of its southern Gothic dreams.
When my voice gets lost in all the sound and the fury.

Suddenly your smile makes everything thing okay.
My petals shudder off.
All of fall's lost melancholy leaves.
Forgive that droopy moment.
Stemmed from regret attunement

Yeah, Darling heart dont mind me
I just noticed the sky looked blue.
No need for a rain check.
Forever in an instant.
I just took my eyes off you.
