Curtain to my soul

This written words are curtains to my soul.
My stubbornness as well as my spoken words are but a facade, hiding my true emotions.
It's with my words you make your judgement, but read between  the lines and see me, the real me.
My calm voice says I'm alright, but my written words tell a different story.
They tell a story of rejection of pain
  and of vulnerability
However, they also tell a story of courage
Courage in the fact that what the world offers to poets, will never be enough extinguish the flames of written words that allude from a poet.

It's not just courage, it's also passion.
But full passion will never come until I can touch a cold heart with the warmth of my words.
No one will ever truly know who I am,
not until they look beyond my written words.

About this poem

It's a pity that only a few understand the deepest meaning beyond a poet's written words.
