My warm companion.

My warm companion.

I find everything very chill in winter.
The sun light is dim
as if it has surrendered to cold.
The trees are burden with snow.
The roads are covered with snow.
The birds are shaking the ice pellets from their wings.
I find her chill too.
She sits infront of the hearth                .  
and dozes with her pet.  

I want to get warm.
At first I sip.
Then I drink to my fill.
Still I feel chill.
Then I go to my bed with my blanket.
It embraces me.
At last I find warm.
