gift.

a day so happy.

sleepy summer morning with my young lemon tree.
sipping nectar from fragrant flowers,
clarity in those precious hours,
hummingbirds and bumblebees.

whatever I have suffered, I forgot.
shame and guilt removed from thought.
in my body, I felt no pain.
when standing up, I remember my name.
once a stranger, my true self again.

a day so happy.

Grievances forgotten and the self reestablished this seems to be saying. This is my read.
The poetic language is not bad and the lines flow well.
    Good read!
