Though you were broken, in your fragments I could see,
How beautiful, you were meant to be.

I showed you warmth, but you wanted more.
Each praise I gave, you asked why I didn't give it before.

You convinced yourself, I couldn't love you.
Then with great effort, you convinced me too.
