Not your clothes doll
Not your clothes, doll.
I'm a girl, not your clothes doll.
It is not meant to be played.
Do not throw me in the garbage can,
Because I am a person, not a thing.
First, look at me as a human,
Please consider my gender sympathetically,
Why am I being deprived of my right to an education?
I cry, but no one seems to care.
I raise my voice, but it falls upon deaf ears,
Don't you have a heart in your chest?
Oh man, why do you refuse to educate your daughters,
The most important key to power?
I hold no hatred in my heart,
But I long to open your eyes,
Open them wide, oh men of tradition,
Your sisters, your daughters, deserve more.
Tame your dreams,
Do not be bound by child marriage,
My voice resounds in the air,
The birdsong of knowledge and change.
Don't worry, I'm a brave girl,
I will fight for my right to education,
With every breath, until the end,
For a brighter future.
