Forget Reality

I want to forget reality.
Forget the fact,
It will never change.

No matter how much I try,
It doesn't make a difference.
I want to forget everything.

I hate reality.
I want an escape,
A permanent one.

I want what isn’t real.
I want to forget,
How my heart burns and shrills.
Forget the pain I feel.

I want a place just for me.
So great and happy,
I forget reality.

About this poem

This poem is kind of self-explanatory. It's about how I just want to forget reality and just be okay. And how it feels as if everything I do means nothing and makes no difference. Sometimes I just need an escape.
