Christmas Fire

Dianne L Holden 1949 (Louisiana)

Breathing smells of cinnamon, clove and pine
Eye-catching sights of blinking lights and dancing flames
Two cuddled upon a bear skin rug sipping wine
Concentrating thoughts of wintery games
Sounds of yuletide fills the warming air
Feelings of Christmas emerges from the soul
Warmth slowly settles upon the skin of the bear
Sights through the pane reveals the chill of the cold
Presents enhance and surround the tree
Ice cycles reflect the blaze of the flickering fire
The cabin is cozy from the decor of glee
The surrounding is a showy Christmas attire
There is nothing like the feel of a Christmas fire
